Quickly and affordably, you can connect the wired networks in two buildings or across an entire campus without laying a single cable between buildings.
The 3Com Wireless LAN Building-to-Building Bridge can be used in two types of network topology.
Point-to-Point is the simplest way, offering the highest performance. Two 3Com bridges using sector-panel directional antennas form a direct wireless association between the wired LANs in two buildings.
Point-to-Multipoint allows communication between more than two buildings. Any WI-FI access point equipped with an omnidirectional antenna provides wireless association among the wired LANs in several buildings through 3Com bridges using sector-panel directional antennas.
